Hosted by Nautilus Architects as part of the vibrant Old Lyme Midsummer Arts Festival, the LEGO Design Showcase is a creative community exhibition celebrating imagination, architecture, engineering, and artistic expression through LEGO design.
Open to all ages and skill levels, the showcase invites participants to submit and display original LEGO creations ranging from architectural concepts and cityscapes to abstract sculptures, fantasy worlds, vehicles, and innovative structural designs. The event is designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and hands-on design thinking while bringing families, artists, and makers together in a fun and welcoming environment.
Taking place inside the Nautilus Architects studio, the showcase creates a unique intersection between professional architecture and community creativity — encouraging participants to explore how design ideas can come to life through scale, structure, color, and storytelling.
