Summer Fest is Lyman Allyn’s free, family friendly, community event, featuring live entertainment, and activities on the Museum grounds and inside the Museum. In the event of rain, everything but the food trucks move indoors to the Museum’s galleries, auditorium, and art studio.
Featuring: art projects • face painting by TeachArt2Me • balloon creations by April Brunelle • a craft from the Children’s Museum of Southeastern CT • story time and crafts from the Public Library of New London • animals from the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center • live birds of prey from A Place Called Hope • food trucks • and much more!
Performers include: Azalea Drive • Need to Know • Ramblin’ Dan Stevens • and The Rivergods!
Visitors are welcome to bring a blanket and explore the grounds of the Lyman Allyn, including the McCourt 9/11 Memorial Garden and Sculpture Trail. The entire Museum will be open during this event, so you can explore all of our exhibits. It’s a perfect event to spend with friends and family. Bring them all!
