May Open Trails Day + Bird Watching + Children’s Scavenger Hunt

I-Park is pleased to welcome the public to its 2022 season kick-off Open Trails + Birdwatching + Children’s Scavenger Hunt + Plein Air Paint Out event, on Saturday, May 21 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Visitors will be given a trail map and a Birds of I-Park brochure and are invited to explore the grounds, including the 40+ existing environmental art installations.
You’re welcome to bring a picnic lunch, pull up a patch of grass and enjoy a relaxing screen-free, fresh-air experience. For those interested in birdwatching, try to arrive at 9 am and don’t forget your binoculars. And, for our plein-air friends, you’re welcome to bring your easel, pick a spot and paint the beautiful landscape.
The event is family-friendly for children of all ages. We’ll have a scavenger hunt for all the kiddos with prizes. Due to the fragility of the artworks and the natural features at I-Park, pets are not permitted on the I-Park grounds.
Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages are welcome, however reservations in advance are REQUIRED. $10 Adults, Children under 17 Free
