Meigs Point Nature Center Summer Programs

Tuesdays – Sundays: 10:30 AM

• Nature walk. Topic and nature of the walk change daily. Programs include bird watching and identification, beach dune ecology, and native plant identification.

Tuesdays – Sundays: 11 AM

• Turtles at the Nature Center

Tuesdays – Sundays: 3 PM

• Snakes at the Nature Center

Wednesdays at 12:30 PM; Saturdays at 9:30 AM

• Two-hour guided round trip on the Hammonasset River. Canoes, life jackets, and paddling instructions provided, or bring your own canoe. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please sign up in advance; $5 per person.
