Musical Masterworks FREE Family Concert at LYSB

Musical Masterworks will be presenting a FREE family concert at LYSB on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 1:30 to 2:30.  Families will have the chance to get to know instruments from the woodwind, brass, and string family presented by Musical Masterworks’ Ensemble-in-Residence, Decoda, an affiliate ensemble of Carnegie Hall.

You’ll get to meet the clarinet, violin, flute and bass and hear a wide variety of pieces both old and new. Get ready to be creative, as you’ll have the opportunity to direct the musicians to make brand new music!

No reservation is required! Drop in and join the fun at LYSB located at 59 Lyme St in Old Lyme.

Musical Masterworks is able to offer these community concerts as part of its Community Engagement Program thanks to grants from Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut, CTHumanities, The Kitchings Family Foundation and Samuel Freeman Charitable Trust.

SAVE THE DATE! Decoda will also present a FREE formal concert on Sunday, November 19, from 2:00-3:30 at Saint Ann’s Church in Old Lyme, co-hosted by Saint Ann’s and the Lymes’ Senior Center; followed by a post-concert reception.
