New London Pride 2021

After a scaled-back New London Pride Festival in 2020 due to the global pandemic and out of an abundance of caution to protect the community, OutCT is back with its weeklong celebration of lgbtq+ pride in 2021, August 15th through 22nd.
OutCT’s New London Pride at the Beach will take place on Saturday, August 21st, at Ocean Beach Park, Neptune Ave New London CT. The Festival begins at 12 noon and will include live bands, drag performances, vendors, and Youth Pride. The event is free and open to the public. The New London Pride Festival will be hosted by singer-songwriter, Carrie Ashton. Information about parking rates can be found on the Ocean Beach website.

In addition to the Pride Festival, New London Pride week will include a virtual art show, sponsored by the La Grua Center, a special Pride edition of OutCT’s YouTube show “Who’s in the neighborhood”, Karaoke at Dockside, and a fundraising night at Flanders Fish Market & Restaurant. New London Pride is a county-wide celebration of the contributions of LGBTQ+ people to the community at large.
