‘NIGHT MOTHER by Marsha Norman at Drama Works Theater

“NIGHT MOTHER, the Pulitzer Prize winning drama opens at the Drama Works Theatre at 323 Boston Post Road in Old Saybrook on June 17th at 7:30 and runs on the 18th, 24th and 25th at 7:30 and the 26th at 3:00.

Jessie and her mother live in a small house on an isolated country road. Jessie has made a decision. Her father is dead; her loveless marriage has ended in divorce; her absent son is a petty thief; she has lost another job and her health is a major issue. She has her father’s old revolver, and she tells her mother she is going to kill herself….
