Quiet Corners: Small-Producer Wines of California & Oregon
Join Spencer & Lynn Wine & Spirit Merchants on Thursday, March 26 for a tasting with Thomas Hadis of Henry Provisions, centered on the small producers and quietly remarkable regions of California and Oregon that continue to surprise us in the best way. They’ll be pouring a lineup from producers like Walter Scott, Newfound, Enfield, Phelan Farms, Railsback Frères, and more, with wines rooted in places like the Willamette Valley, the SLO Coast, Carmel Valley, and other lesser-sung corners of the map.
Spencer & Lynn decided to host this masterclass to make space for the regions that don’t always lead with name recognition, but reward attention in the glass. These wines matter not because they represent more famous appellations, but because they offer something distinct: freshness, structure, energy, and a real sense of place.
Some of the most exciting work in wine is happening just outside the spotlight, and this tasting is a chance to spend time with the producers and places shaping that story.
Expect a relaxed evening led by Thomas, with thoughtful conversation, a deeper look at these quietly remarkable regions, and a few surprises in the glass along the way.
