Summer Fest

Summer Fest is our free, family friendly, community event, featuring food trucks, live entertainment, and family friendly activities on the Museum grounds and inside the Museum. In the event of rain, everything but the food trucks will move indoors to the Museum galleries, auditorium, and art studio.
Come enjoy: live entertainment • family activities • art projects • face painting by TeachArt2Me • balloon creations by April Brunelle • a performance by Mystic Paper Beasts • story time and crafts from the Public Library of New London • animals from the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center • an activity from Connecticut Science Center • live birds of prey from A Place Called Hope • food trucks • and more!
Performers include: Bootleg Harmony • Need to Know • Ramblin’ Dan Stevens • and The Rivergods!
Visitors are welcome to bring a blanket and explore the grounds of the Lyman Allyn, including the McCourt 9/11 Memorial Garden and the outdoor Sculpture trail. The entire Museum will be open during this event, so you can explore all of our exhibits. It’s a perfect event to spend with family and friends. Bring them all!
