TEA AT FIVE, opening Thursday, May 15 at Ivoryton Playhouse, is a bold, intimate portrait of a Hollywood icon. TEA AT FIVE, a riveting one-woman show about the life and legacy of Katharine Hepburn, runs through June 8th. Set in 1938 and 1983 at her home in Fenwick, the play offers Shoreline audiences a rare chance to step inside the private world of Connecticut’s own silver screen queen. Carlyn Connolly plays Katharine Hepburn and Jacqueline Hubbard directs.

In partnership with The Kate and The Katharine Hepburn Museum, there will be talk backs after the Thursday, 2pm matinee on May 22nd, May 29th and June 5th. The talk backs are free for ticket holders. Staff from the Museum will be on hand to talk about Katharine Hepburn’s life in Old Saybrook and actress Carlyn Connolly will speak about how she prepared for the role.
