The Heart Behind the Art at Ivoryton Playhouse
September 19 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
On September 19 at 5pm, Ivoryton Playhouse is turning up the music and throwing open the tent for The Summer Season AfterParty, an evening of great food, drinks, a spirited auction, and live music from Broadway veterans Ben Hope, Eric Anthony & the Road Sodas. It’s one of the Playhouse’s biggest nights of the year, and a chance to gather, celebrate, and have a seriously good time.
There’s a certain magic that happens when a professional theatre is rooted in its community. You see it in every thoughtful design, every step of choreography, every stitch in a costume, every note played and sung, every brushstroke on a set, and every hour given by volunteers. That is the heart behind the art, and it’s what the AfterParty is all about.
Come for a great party, and leave knowing you’ve helped support the live performing arts right here in our community.
