“Two Rooms” is a love story in the midst of a hostage crisis. One room is in Beirut, Lebanon, where a man is being held hostage by terrorists. The other room is in the United States where his wife awaits his return. A conflict arises when a reporter insists the wife go public with her story and a State Department employee whose job it is to keep the wife informed as to the progress in freeing her husband. There is of course the “larger picture” to consider. This is a moving and highly theatrical play filled, at the same time, with both love and fear.
