Are you looking for something fun to do this Valentine’s Day? Why not celebrate with the MHS in Victorian style?
The Madison Historical Society will present its second annual Victorian Valentine’s Day Party on Wednesday, February 14, from 5:30 to 7 pm at its historic Allis-Bushnell House, 853 Boston Post Road, Madison. This festive celebration of love and romance is open to all adults, including singles and couples.
The event will feature a display of vintage wedding dresses and valentines from the MHS collection. Refreshments will include a special Victorian punch, wine, other beverages, hors d’oeuvres, and chocolate treats. Nationally known storyteller Jennifer Munro will return to present a new and moving tale of familial love.
We invite you to celebrate the way the Victorians did, in the relaxed and elegant atmosphere of the Allis-Bushnell House.
Registration fee is $25 per person and $20 for MHS members. Last year’s event was very popular, so we encourage advance registration.
