Learn the secrets of how to paint in watercolor in this one and/or two day “Capturing The Essence” workshop with Alan James on April 20 and/or April 21, 2024 from 10 am – 3pm.
In this workshop, Alan James will share all of the secrets of what he calls “Capturing the Essence” which is the process of simplifying the subject by eliminating superficial details. Through step-by-step demonstrations and one-on-one guidance, Alan will show you how to take your initial inspiration through his process in creating an expressive a painting that is strong in both composition and content. At the end of the workshop you will have a completed painting!
