Win a Date With A CDHR Draft Horse

…an Online Fundraiser that Supports CT Draft Horse Rescue.
There’s no better Valentine than a CDHR horse! CDHR is holding an online auction for a chance to win a date with a CHDR horse (or mule). You have the opportunity to win a date, either in-person or through ZOOM with one or more (if you’re feeling zesty) of our horses (or mule). And most importantly, you are supporting our herd by participating. All winners will be announced on Valentine’s Day!
How it Works:
The auction runs from Feb. 1st 8:00 PM (ET) – Feb 14th 11:59 PM (ET)
Place a bid on your favorite horse/mule on the auction site. The minimum bid is $25.00. You can bid on multiple horses. If you want to assure your date, there is a “buy it now” option for $500.
There is only one winner per horse.
At the close of the auction, on February 14th, winners are notified via email and you will receive an invoice that can be paid by credit card through the auction site.
The winner of each horse has one year to schedule their date. In-person dates cannot be scheduled until we can safely re-open to the public.
We need at least two weeks’ notice to schedule your date.
Dates will take place Saturdays & Sundays from 11 AM – 1:00 PM (excluding holidays).
The winners will have the opportunity to meet their horse, learn more about him/her, have their pic taken with their horse, and spend some time with them on their ‘date.’ We may even have a few surprises for your special day to make it extra special!
