I-Park is pleased to welcome the public to its first Open Studios of the 2023 season, on Sunday, May 28 from 2:00 to 5:30 pm.
Spend your Sunday afternoon enjoying art, music, nature and conversation. You will get to meet the artists who have been in residence with us throughout the month of May.
2023 May Artists-in-Residence
Alexis Bacon, Music Composition/Sound Art
Mischa Salkind-Pearl, Music Composition/Sound Art
Rocio Von Jungenfeld, Moving Image/New Media
Lilian Yang, Moving Image/New Media
Anne Finger, Creative Writing
Nathan Byrne, Visual Arts
The artists will be in their studios from 2:00 to 3:30 pm and will be happy to share glimpses into their creative process – as well as some of the works they’ve developed during their time at I-Park. Select presentations will begin at 3:30 pm followed by wine, lemonade and refreshments.
This is a family-friendly public event (children 17 and under are FREE). Due to the fragility of the artworks and the natural features at I-Park, pets are not permitted on the I-Park grounds.
Important: Please note that only part of our campus is wheelchair accessible at this time. If you would like more info on accessibility, please contact Joanne at 860-873-2468.
Art and music lovers of all ages are welcome, however reservations in advance are REQUIRED.
