Wee Faerie Village at the Florence Griswold Museum through October 29th: Hold your breath and dive right in to explore the community of Fathom Heights, the wonderful underwater world of the sea faeries.⁠Since 2009 over 175,000 visitors have immersed themselves in the spirit of imagination and whimsy that comes from visiting at least two dozen pint-sized installations across the Museum’s campus on a perfect autumn day, and this will be no exception! Tuesday – Sunday, 10 – 5. Cafe Flo is open for lunch.

Elizabeth Enders, A Different Time, A Different Place at The Lyman Allyn through January 14th: Exploring landscape, nature, and the role of place in the imagination, this exhibition presents the recent work of contemporary artist Elizabeth Enders.

Niantic Ladies Night, October 19, 5 – 8pm: Enjoy a night of specials, sales, food, drink and fun in downtown Niantic! New Haven Chalk Art Festival, October 21, 12 – 4. Enjoy a day of music, art and family entertainment in the heart of downtown New Haven and Yale University. The Shops at Yale invites all professional and amateur artists, students, and artist groups to participate.

Olde Mistick Village Apple Festival, October 21 & 22: Crisp days and crisp apples…a fall food festival celebrating everything Fall: Apples, Maple Syrup, Pumpkins and much more!!

What Lurks Beneath, A Halloween Experience at Mystic Seaport Museum, October 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, 6 – 8:30pm: Explore indoor and outdoor spaces as the mysteries of the ocean come out to play: see incredible Kraken-inspired tentacles climbing the rigging of the Charles W. Morgan whaleship, take a spooky guided tour to hear about the creatures of the deep from the sailors that encountered them, view fascinating and creepy marine specimens from our collection, and check out  the new exhibit of glass invertebrates in Spineless.

Health & Fitness Express Reset, October 23 – November 19th: Join Personal Trainer Alex Brandy and Nutritionist Kara Pachniuk for this 4-week virtual fitness and nutrition program that will help you feel your best heading into the holiday season. Guilford Art Center’s Holiday Expo 2023: The GAC’s annual Holiday gift shopping event kicks off on November 2nd with an opening from 5 – 7pm. The Shop and Gallery at Guilford Art Center are filled with holiday gifts from American artists, makers and designers; craft categories include accessories, candles, ceramics, clothing, fiber art, glass, homewares, jewelry, leather, Christmas ornaments, soaps, specialty foods, stationery and more.
