When I need fresh flowers at home, my go-to is Marlee at Mar Floral in Old Saybrook (the talented offspring of Madison Flower Shop!), but if I’m sending a bunch far and wide, my new favorite is Farmgirl Flowers. This artisan florist out of San Francisco now ships to the lower 48, and I gave them a test run and sent myself the “Just Right” bouquet. A seasonal and bright bunch arrived, wrapped in their signature burlap (recycled from a local coffee roaster!) and bursting with twenty blooms of assorted ranunculus, roses, lilies and more in a “just- picked-from-the-garden” spray.
