Looking forward to seeing everyone in Guilford tomorrow night (Thursday, December 3rd). If you’ve never been to an The E List Girls’ Night Out, I hope you’ll join us for half price drinks and 20% off in participating shops from 5 until 9pm. No need to RSVP, just meet us at Whitfield’s between 5 and 6:30pm to get your sticker to qualify for discounts. See a complete list of participating shops here.

I ran around town last week for a preview of what’s in store:

Mix Design Store

We stock up our gift closet from Mix every year at Girls’ Night Out. You’ll find something for everyone on your list here, with a magical selection of well-priced and modern-designed gift. We like to call it our very own mini-MOMA. Men’s gifts are always troublesome but we loved Mix’s assortment of mini toolkits, shoe shine essentials, bike kits and board games.

Lulu’s

We always head to Lulu’s for cozy PJ Salvage jammies, Hanky Panky undies and fuzzy Barefoot Dreams wraps, but it’s also a great stop for jewels by Susan Roberts, these lovely Lafco Candles and plenty of gift ideas for all the gals in your life. lulus.com

Tracy 2

Tracy Brent is known on the Shoreline for sophisticated designer collections and a deep selection of occasion dressing. Her new, second shop in Guilford is a touch more casual and perhaps a little less dear. You’ll find well-stocked denim and sweaters, plus lovely party dresses like these sweet numbers from Tracy Reese and Kathy Hilton. tracy2.com

Details

Details is my go-to in Guilford for tabletop and decor, with a huge selection of frames, candles, serving pieces and more. We love that they go high glam for the holidays and transform their sweet shop into an over-the-top winter wonderland. Don’t miss!

Breakwater Books

Can one ever have enough books? Nope, not me anyway! The granddaughter of an antiquarian bookseller (Biblo & Tannen in NYC), a bookstore is my very, very happy place. And we’re lucky to still have a few special ones on the Shoreline. Breakwater’s nooks and crannies make for a perfect afternoon of browsing. Here are a few giftable titles you’ll find on their shelves. breakwaterbooks.com

You might think a hardware store is an unlikely stop for Girls’ Night Out, but not historic Page’s. It’s houseware heaven! This year the mammoth assortment of Bundt and bakeware is a steal at 20% off, or pick up some cookie cutters, Lodge pans or classic Emile Henry for your holiday table. pagehardware.com
