Guilford’s Farmers’ Market at the Dudley Farm Museum

Despite contending with these stifling temps, I’ve managed to buzz around to every farm stand and market within reach this summer. One of my top stops is a bustling yet safely sprawling open-air market on the corner of Routes 77 & 80 in Guilford. Guilford Farmers’ Market has now joined forces with the summer market at the Dudley Farm Museum. And now the farm is abuzz, every Saturday morning, with folks sipping refreshing green drinks and smoothies, and noshing on bacon and egg sammies (made entirely from market goods) while perusing well-stocked booths along the grounds.

The market has everything you’ll need for your summer table from fresh cut flowers, hand-carved wooden utensils, and screen printed tea towels. You’ll find plenty of bright produce from local farms, fresh-baked pies, cheeses plus handmade soaps and jams. I even found an olive oil bug repellant that I can’t wait to try! There’s a line at 9 sharp for Sweet Sage Bakery’s bread and it’s worth every hot second for a loaf of her sourdough. Handmade pasta, kettle corn, and plenty of other snacks and goodies await. Go see for yourself!

Bring the littles to loll around the property, visit with the chickens, and find a little shade up among the barns.

This weekend catch GZen monkey-mobile food truck for some vegan favorites at the farm.

Plenty of parking. Don’t forget your mask!
