Artistry at the Guilford Art Center – thru 1/5/25. Over 300 fine American crafters, artisans and jewelers are featured at this celebrated annual sale. Enjoy the new Accessories Showcase, featuring an expanded selection of contemporary accessories from small-batch and New York boutique designers. Deck the Walls at Lyme Art Association, thru 12/31, Juried exhibit of Lyme Art Association members. This exhibit of well-priced artworks is perfect for gifting! Opening reception 11/10, 2 -4.
Stonington Lobster Trap Tree at Stonington Town Dock thru 1/5/2025: A visit to the Stonington Lobster Trap tree is a magical experience and provides unique photo opportunities. The artistic and architectural masterpiece is situated on a grassy area at the Stonington, Connecticut town dock, paying homage to the town’s renowned fishing industry. Lit from 4:30pm to 9:30pm through January 4th and from 4:30pm – 6:00pm on January 5th.
Winter Nights at Stone Acres Farm: thru 1/1/2025. Enjoy the 4th season of “Winter Nights,” a holiday inspired pop-up dinner series inside the historic Manor House at Stone Acres Farm. The fire will be stoked, the Christmas Trees will be lit to make the house aglow for the holiday season. The 85th Day Food Community will present a multicourse menu inspired from the farm.
A 1940’s Radio Christmas Carol at Granite Theatre, thru 12/15: Enjoy the long-awaited sequel to the popular The 1940’s Radio Hour. It’s Christmas Eve, 1943, and the Feddington Players are now broadcasting from a hole-in-the-wall studio in Newark, NJ, and set to present their contemporary “take” on Dickens’s A Christmas Carol.
Holiday Magic at Flo Gris Museum, thru 1/5/2025: Museum campus lights up for the holidays! You won’t want to miss this beautiful tradition. Over 250 creative palettes designed by artists from across the country will be on display on magnificent trees, including several brand new creations for 2024. Miss Florence’s historic boardinghouse is decked for a 1910 holiday with opulent mantels and delightful décor in the period rooms.
A Christmas Carol, Legacy Theatre, Branford, 12/4 – 12/15: Adapted and directed by Keely Baisden Knudsen, this story illuminates the journey of one Ebenezer Scrooge and his guided self-reflection amidst the Christmas season in 1800s England.
Lantern Light Village at Mystic Seaport, timed entry on 12/13, 14, 20, 21, and 22. Immerse yourself in evocative lantern light and the sound of music-fueled twinkling displays as you explore the Museum after dark. Take in their riverside campus brimming with the tastes and sounds of the season, from holiday cookies and carolers, to old-time dances, a horse-drawn carriage ride, crackling fires, and a visit with Saint Nick.

The Nutcracker at The Garde, 12/14 & 12/15, Get tickets to see this holiday favorite performed by Eastern CT Ballet with dancers from the New York City Ballet at The Garde.
Madison Chamber Men’s Shopping Night, 12/19, from 5-8pm: Meet up with friends and explore the shops, enjoy in-store holiday specials, drinks and treats while taking care of everyone on your holiday shopping list.

Annual Holiday Train Show at CT River Museum, Late November – Mid February, 10am – 5pm: Bring the whole family to this exhibit, created by train artist Steve Cryan, featuring more trains, new scenery, and lots of surprises in the fully operational 26-foot model train layout.
