I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen Jesus Christ Superstar, the soundtrack that shaped my youth and, to me, one of the most electrifying shows ever created. The moment tickets went on sale for the Goodspeed run, I snapped them up and made sure to be there opening week. Wow!  Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s legendary score soared through the theater, brought to life by a cast whose voices are nothing short of stunning. We wept through Stephanie Zaharis’ heart-wrenching “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” and you will, too.  It’s nearly impossible not to sing along. The energy, the choreography, and the sheer joy radiated through the sold-out crowd.

Once again, we were amazed by Goodspeed’s knack for drawing top-tier Broadway talent and transforming every inch of their intimate stage. If Jesus Christ Superstar is already a favorite, prepare to fall in love all over again. If you’ve never seen it, don’t miss your chance—just go! The show runs through June 7th.
