The second I stepped through MOR’s secret garden entrance, I knew I’d stumbled on a hidden gem. 

Owner and interior designer Kari McCabe’s style resonates, reminding me of my Cambridge upbringing, when Design Research was the pinnacle of the interiors world, and we all dashed about in Marimekko shifts. MOR is a sun-drenched, Nordic-inspired shop stocked with goods for the home, the main event being the selection of vintage Swedish flatweave rugs Kari has collected over the years, every one of which would live very happily in my own home!  My love for textiles and ceramics finds a kindred spirit in Kari, reflected in every carefully chosen piece. I ogled an array of handmade glass dishes, cheerful (and well-priced) striped canvas bags, vintage finds, paper flowers, and their own Swedish botanical trays.
