Olive Oyl’s Smoked On The Water Jerky
We’ve been heading to Olive Oyl’s in Essex for sandwiches to munch on the dock at CT River Museum. They offer stellar dinner takeout, and an unusual array of carefully curated gourmet foods. With the launch of their sideline biz, Smoked on the Water Jerky, we have a new, local, shippable gift item for Paleo fanatics, Slim Jim fans and the impossible-to-buy-for. Choice Angus beef is steeped in a chemical free, low sodium, housemade marinade and slow smoked. The resulting chewy strips are fresh and flavorful with a hint of heat.
