Pandemic-Friendly Indoor Golf

While many of us are taking up new hobbies and looking for pandemic-friendly activities, the Essex Indoor Golf Center presents an appealing option. The facility, which opened on June 18, features six state-of-the-art aboutGolf simulators. The simulators allow players to choose from more than 70 golf courses around the world, and they can be customized depending on player skill levels from beginner to expert. There are even three mini golf course options, so kids can get in on the fun.

As the days get hotter and occasionally rainy, going on an indoor golf adventure doesn’t sound so bad—even if you have never played on a real course. Plus, snacks and beverages, including a selection of local beers, are available.

Owner Scott Harger recommends making a reservation online at https://essexindoorgolf.com/reservations, but walk-ins are welcome. All the simulators and playing spaces are sanitized between groups, and the tables are positioned to maintain effective social distancing.
