Summer Fun & Festivals 2025

From classic country fairs and craft shows to oyster and strawberry fests, here’s our list of summer fairs and festivals:
Lyman Orchards Strawberry Festival, 6/14, There’s no sweeter way to celebrate the start of Summer 2025 than by joining in on all the fun –Strawberry picking, live music, strawberry shortcakes, food trucks & more. 10am – 4pm, Middlefield.
Salsa Under the Stars, Throughout the summer join the Yale Salsa Society on Broadway Island at The Shops at Yale for free Salsa Lessons every Monday through August from 6:30pm to 7:00pm, followed by open dance from 7:00-9:30pm.
Essex Summer Arts Festival, 6/14-6/15, Arts Center Killingworth and Spectrum Gallery present this fair on the Essex Town Green. Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 11am-5pm, Essex.
Olde Mistick Village Art Show, 6/14 – 6/15 Glass, illustrations, jewelry, paintings, photography, pottery, wood and more. Sat 10am – 6pm, Sun 10am – 5pm, Mystic.
Summer Solstice Stroll, 6/18, The E List and Saybrook Home are throwing an even bigger and better Summer Solstice Girls’ Night Out on June 18th! Meet us at Aspen for 1/2 price wine and to pick up your sticker to qualify for 20% off at participating shops plus food and cocktail specials all over town!
Celebrate East Lyme, 6/19, Over 200 vendors will offering food, shopping, and unique local goods. The day will conclude with a magnificent fireworks display over Niantic Bay at McCook’s Park. 3-9pm, Niantic.
Celebrate Saybrook Street Party, 6/22 Join Main Street businesses and street vendors when Main Street will be filled with live music, plenty of food, local craft beer, a mix of vendors and lots of family fun. 1:30 – 6pm, Old Saybrook.
CT Historic Gardens Day, 6/22, Enjoy gardens and outdoor festivities at a multitude of venues throughout Connecticut. 12Noon – 4pm, various locations.
The Wooden Boat Show at the Mystic Seaport, 6/27 – 6/29, The largest gathering of wooden boats and enthusiasts in New England converge at Mystic Seaport Museum. 9am – 5pm, Mystic. Tickets $22 – $180, children 0 – 3 free.
International Festival of Arts & Ideas New Haven thru 6/28, A city wide festival featuring concerts on the Green, dance performances, story telling, tours, lectures, comedy, drag, food vendors and more. Many events are free, ticketed event prices vary.
FloatSwella, 7/5, A pop-up paddle-craft only rally on the Mystic River featuring Bands and a DJ on a floating stage. 1pm, Mystic
Guilford Craft Expo, 7/18-7/20, Over 170 talented artists from across the country will display and sell fine crafts at one of the longest-running craft shows in the US. Fri/Sat 10am – 6pm, Sun 10am – 5pm. Guilford.
Celebrate East Lyme Festival, 7/19, Niantic’s Main Street transforms into a spectacular celebration by the sea, filled with food, fun and fabulous activities for everyone in the family. 3-9pm, Niantic
New Haven Night Market, 7/25, downtown NHV’s evening bazaar, taking place in different downtown locations and gathering all to celebrate the vibrant New Haven and Connecticut community’s entrepreneurs, art, music, food, drink, culture and more!
Midsummer Festival, 7/26, Art sales, food vendors, live music, dog parade and so much more. 9am – 3pm, Old Lyme. The annual concert on the banks of the Lieutenant River at the Florence Griswold Museum is on Friday, 7/25 featuring the Mighty Soul Drivers from 7-9pm.
North Branford Potato & Corn Festival, 8/1-8/3, Indulge in everything from kettle corn to curly fries plus rides and fireworks. New this year will be high wire and breathtaking Circus, with Dirtbikes flying around in a massive Arena. North Branford.
COMO Village Fair, 8/2, Live bands, flowers, baked goods and more at this annual event to raise funds for the Stonington Community Center. 10am – 4pm, Stonington Borough.
Madison Arts and Crafts Fair, 8/9, Hundreds of crafters on the Madison Green featuring country crafts, jewelry, woodcrafts and more. 10am – 4pm, Madison.
Mystic Outdoor Arts Festival, 8/9 – 8/10, A juried showcase of over 200 artists from around the country in downtown Mystic, 11am – 5pm.
Milford Oyster Festival, 8/15 – 8/16, The festival has a NEW EVENING ONLY format this year and will be held in the Fowler Field area with an expanded “Oyster Eve” for two nights featuring live music, oysters, food, beer and wine. 5-10pm, Fowler Field, Milford.
Hamburg Fair, 8/15 -8/17, This historic family friendly fair showcases many agricultural fair traditions while highlighting top local music talent, entertainment, rides and classic fare. Fri, 5 – 10:30pm; Sat 9am – 10:30pm; Sun 9am – 5pm, Lyme. Admission $8 – $25, kids 11 and under Free.
Wadsworth Mansion Open Air Market & Festival, 8/17, The historic Mansion transforms into a marketplace and festival featuring Connecticut grown or made products, 10am – 4pm, Middletown.
Chester Fair, 8/22-8/24, Since 1877, a local favorite, emphasizing Zero Waste, with concessions rides and exhibits. Fri, 6pm – 11pm; Sat 8am – 11pm; Sun 9am – 6pm, Chester. Admission $8 – $25, children 12 and under Free.
Clinton Summerfest and Fireworks, 8/23, A beer garden, food, kids’ activities, fireworks and so much more. 4-9:30pm, Clinton.
Haddam Neck Fair, 8/29-9/1, From skillet throwing to truck pulls, this fair has it all. Admission $12 – $35, children under 12 Free, Haddam Neck.
Guilford Fair, 9/19-9/21, Don’t miss Connecticut’s 2nd oldest agricultural fair. Fri 4-11pm, Sat 9am – 11pm, Sun 9am – 7pm, Admission $10 – $40, kids 11 and under Free
Harvest Festival, 9/20 & 9/21, Rummage Sale, fall plants and produce, food, games and live music at this annual fest in Old Lyme.
Durham Fair, 9/25-9/28, Connecticut’s largest agricultural fair featuring live entertainment on four stages, rides, games and lots of food. Thurs 4-10pm, Fri & Sat 9am – 10pm, Sun 9am – 6pm, Admission $ 10 – $50, kids 11 and under Free, Durham.
