The Perfect Nightgown at Lulu’s

My favorite sleepwear is an ancient white cotton tee of my dad’s. It’s practically threadbare from washing and at size XL, it hangs to mid-thigh. I’m not sure how it found its way into my closet but it’s so comfy I’m tempted to raid his dresser next time I’m in NOLA. It’s weirdly tough to find 100% cotton pajamas. I’m so picky that I’ve been know to turn a tee or nightie inside out so the seams won’t bug me. And no Modal or rayon thank you, that stuff pills after a wash or two and I’m just like the Princess and the Pea, tossing and turning all night long.  If you’re on the hunt for the perfect nightgown, here’s your answer: P.Jamas at Lulu’s. These gowns and jammies are crafted from 100% pima cotton. What’s that? It’s simply the best. The extra long staple fibers, grown in Egypt and spun in Switzerland, are prized for their softness and strength. The P.Jama people keep it simple, the shapes are basic (some sport a bit of smocking if you like fancy)  and Lulu’s always has a variety of gowns and pajama sets in stock in pastel hues. Yes, a P.Jama gown is probably more of an investment than you’re used to paying for sleepwear, but these babies will last a long, long time and get even better with wear.
