Brimfield   9/5 – 9/10    The September edition of America’s oldest antiques market.

CT Maritime Fest  9/8 – 9/10   Tall ships, Coast Guard and U.S. Navy vessels convene in New London.

Mystic Eats 9/8 – 9/10    Sample menu selections from over 25 of Mystic’s premier eateries in the Seaport Marine barn.

Guilford Fair 9/15 – 17     A classic country Fair at the Guilford Fairgrounds.

The Big E  9/15 – 10/1    New England’s biggest country fair.

Riverquest Swallow Cruises offers one of the best ways to see the annual murmuration of swallows over the Connecticut. Check website for available dates.

Simsbury Woman’s Club Arts & Crafts Festival  9/16-17 Over 100 artists and craftspeople will exhibit on Iron Horse Boulevard in Simsbury Center.

Stonington Vineyards Harvest Food & Wine Festival  9/16 – 9/17    Live bands, artisans, wine tastings, food vendors, face painting and more.

Mitchell Farm Music Festival 9/19 & 9/17  Jonathan Edwards, Roomful of Blues and more on Mitchell Farm.

Durham Fair 9/21 – 24     Another opportunity for 4H, fried dough and carnie rides.

Greenwich Wine & Food Festival  9/23 – 9/24   A feeding frenzy for foodies, celebrating local chefs, restaurants, and producers, offering small tastes and craft beer, wine, cocktails plus live music.

Madison Beach Hotel Harvest Festival  9/24    Craft brews, Fall fare and artisans at Madison Beach Hotel.

Mystic River Oyster Festival  9/30    All things oyster at the Seaport including contests, demonstrations, and live music.

Wee Faerie Village at Flo Gris  9/30 – 10/29  The annual don’t-miss family event of artist-designed fairy houses on the grounds of the Florence Griswold Museum.

Jonathan Edwards Harvest Festival   9/30 & 10/1   The bands Sugah Rush and Sugar play at the JE Harvest Festival this year.

Mohegan Sun Brewfest 10/7  Step into a beer lover’s paradise and sample the best of brews while enjoying signature food at Mohegan Sun.

CT River Valley Chamber Apple Harvest Festival  10/13 – 10/15   Three days of live music, vendor booths, food trucks, amusement rides, the Angry Orchard 5K, a Harvest Pub and more.
