To kick off its 2023-24 season at the Garde Arts Center on October 21, the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra will present a festive program of shorter works in several styles -- from a world premiere of Monhegan Sunrise to George Gershwin’s jazz-influenced Rhapsody in Blue, The Bamboula and concluding with New Orleans style traditional jazz arrangements.
