Will You Join My Tour de Lyme Team?

My husband is a serious bike rider and I have him to thank for my fancy Italian bike. He found it on eBay; it wasn’t his size, but apparently too good to pass up. The sad news is, I’m not much of a rider, but I give the thing one good workout a year at The Tour de Lyme. This year, I hope you’ll join my team and ride with me. The E List is proud to sponsor the Tour; it’s a ridiculously fun cycling event that supports the Lyme Land Conservation Trust. The Trust has acquired and protected close to 3000 acres of fields, farms and woodlands in Lyme for future generations to enjoy. We’ll enjoy it, too, on May 17th when The E List team rides the “Valley” a 26-mile, easy loop through the gentle hills of Lyme. It’s a gorgeous ride with a food truck lunch (Caseus’ Grilled Cheese, G-Zen, Four Mile River BBQ and Pizza and we can chow without feeling guilty!) and live music at the finish at Ashlawn Farm. (Just an FYI, we’re not the competitive sorts, we hit every rest stop along the way for a snack, and we stop often to admire the view!).

To join our team go to www.tourdelyme.org and click on registration. When you get to “Join or Form a Team”, select “the-e-list” in the drop down menu. The password is: theelist15. Entry fee is a tax-deductible $50 and if you join our team you’ll get a free The E List tee shirt! You can sign up to ride any of the routes, from an 8-mile Family Ride to a 57-mile Challenge and still be on The E List team. We’ll meet up pre-ride and rendezvous post ride at Ashlawn Farm for lunch!
p.s. If you don’t want to ride but would like to support the cause, feel free to sponsor us by clicking here and choose “the-e-list” on the drop down team menu.  THANK YOU!
