I don’t know how we’ve missed this free-standing shop on Stonington Road between the Borough and Westerly. We zipped by and back-tracked, thinking we might have stumbled on a find, and we were RIGHT. This adorable gift store is bursting with interesting and unusual goodies for the host-hostess, bride-to-be, birthday girl or guy, or any other gifting event you have on the horizon. Mostly I just wanted everything for me. There’s lots to love, but a few things in particular are: my great friend Jill Rosenwald’s modern ceramics, these brilliant (and chic) rechargeable outdoor lamps, lovely paper placemats in all manner of prints, fun wine bottle bags with appropriate gift sentiments, stationery, decor and so much more. Try, just try, to walk out of here empty-handed.
