This trusty donut shop, dating back to 1972, is a standout for us. Dozens of confections line the shelves for a revolving door of die-hards shuffling in for boxes of fresh and chewy yeast-raised and old-fashioned cake donuts. We left with a half dozen including coconut, traditional and strawberry-glazed plus the highly indulgent Maple Bacon and a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup (filled with peanut butter). Get here early on weekends as they do sell out. And don’t miss the drive-thru window!
