Fans of local artist and photographer Adrien Broom’s work will be thrilled to hear she’s finally bringing her Living Tableaux portrait studio home to Connecticut. Her fantastical installations in New Orleans are always a sell-out, and this is the first chance to have a portrait session in New Haven amidst her handmade forest mushroom set. Originally created for her Mystical Murmurs exhibit at the Florence Griswold Museum last year, you and your dear ones can frolic among the 10-foot high Alice-in-Wonderland-sized mushrooms and capture the memories forever.

Adrien lives in Guilford and creates surreal installations for portraits that blend fine art photography, cinema, and fashion elements. If you’ve got an occasion coming up (think wedding, milestone birthday, anniversary, or a very special Mother’s Day gift), this might just be the answer.

Sessions are 1.5 hours, with time for outfit changes, resulting in 10 fully edited, museum-quality images. Don’t miss it…booking through mid-June.
