Labor Day weekend gets a little more colorful at the Haddam Neck Fair. Along with carnival rides, livestock, fair food, and live music, you’ll find old-fashioned competitions from skillet throwing to tractor pulls and a beard contest. It’s four days of good-natured fun with plenty of character.
