Two friends of mine have concurrent exhibits at the Benton Museum at UConn, and it’s worth the trip!
Fate and Magic: The Art of Maureen McCabe is a retrospective of six decades of intricate assemblages and installations, inspired by themes of magic, folklore, spiritualism and myth.
Clouds: A collaboration with Fluid Dynamics features the photographs of Essex resident Kate Cordsen, and her ethereal, large-scale works. Beautiful, calming, and dramatic at the same time.
Both exhibits run through December 14th, 2025
