Best Ethnic Food 2011: Taste of China

Day two of my pre-holiday “cleanse” with Nourishing Habits of Guilford, and I’m pining for some Ma La crazy hot chicken wings from Taste of China. Not that I don’t like carrot juice and quinoa, but here’s what I’m having when I’m done juicing: Ginger String Beans, “Ants Crawling on Trees” (mung bean noodles with ground pork and spices), steamed Mini Juicy Pork Buns and Chicken with Cucumber in Garlic Vinegar Sauce. What makes Taste of China so much better than the rest? It’s not just the intriguing names (Pork with Jingling Bells?), the food is fresh, flavorful and not your standard take-out fare.
