One of our favorite places to sip a cappuccino and while away a morning, Caffe Marche in the historic James Pharmacy in Old Saybrook has reopened with a limited menu and all their glorious house-made gelato! The marble-topped tables are at the ready for a morning organic smoothie or pressed juice, latte or espresso, scones and croissants, or head over in the afternoon for scoop of gelato, sundae, or (my personal favorite) the affogato: an espresso poured over a scoop of your choice of gelato (not a bad breakfast treat, either, in my book).

Good to know: Gelato On Wheels – the gelato catering bike is available for parties and events, scooping out up to six flavors.

7am to 7pm Tuesday thru Sunday.
