Coffee, Treats, and Farm Animals at The Farm on Deep River

The Farm on Deep River is lots more than another coffee shop! Perfect for moms (and dads) and their tots, this delightful spot offers a safe outdoor play space lined with hay bales and stocked with toys, plus a bunch of friendly farm animals whose antics will delight the kiddies. And parents can enjoy that cappuccino and croissant while hanging outside with the fam and friends. (Can you tell I wish I had a destination like this when my daughter was toddling?)

And that’s not all: besides every version of coffee drink and kombucha, the treats here are delish, with lots of gluten-free and vegan options. Do not miss the gluten-free Sicilian orange cake, mini frittatas, ham and cheese croissants, and all manner of muffins. I grabbed a freshly baked pretzel and tried not to finish it (but I did), and a stack of sweet potato biscuits to take home. The baked goods are simply scrumptious. You’ll also find Ani’s Table takeout (she’s one of the best caterers in the area), a full freezer of Honey Cone Ice Cream, housemade popsicles, and fresh organic eggs. Good to know, if you’re ordering Ani’s Thanksgiving offerings, you can pick up here (see our article on Thanksgiving takeout)

Ani will be doing a tasting of her specialties on Wednesday, November 5th from 4 – 7pm.
