Deep River Home for Mother’s Day (and Every Day)
I have yet to leave Jennie Maneri’s fantastic general store empty-handed. Her stock of thoughtful, useful, and beautiful, mainly handmade goods is too tempting. Beyond brilliant is this handled bucket. Fill it up with a selection of Japanese gardening tools or wooden cleaning supplies to gift your mom (or keep)! The genius thing is that it becomes a stool for the work at hand (holding up to 300 pounds).
You will not want to miss Jennie’s May Market on May 10th from 11 – 3. She’ll fill the front lawn with local artisans, including vintage clothing vendors, an indigo Shibori demo (where you can dip-dye a bandana to take home), flowers, and top it all off with a treat from Honeycone Ice Cream.
