20th Annual Connecticut’s Historic Gardens Day

The countdown is on for CT Historic Gardens Day 2023! THIS SUNDAY each of the states 16 sites will provide something extra special for their garden guests. We hope you will join fellow garden and history enthusiasts as we celebrate these distinctive historic sites within our state.
From garden and historic house tours to live music, scavenger hunts, living history presentations and more, this day offers a variety of nature, history, and family-friendly delights.
Pick a few sites near you, or plan a day trip to explore new territory! Don’t forget to use your Passport – bring your CT’s Historic Gardens brochure (or pick one up at any of the member gardens), have it initialed at three locations, and you’ll receive a free packet of notecards featuring the works of the CHG Day Poster Art Contest winners.
You can visit our gardens throughout the year (please check website for each open hours), but on Sunday, June 25 each site has a little something extra planned.
