Spectrum Art Gallery and Artisans Store of Centerbrook, Connecticut presents Nature Up Close. Discover new and original artwork that showcases the joys of Summer as we all look closely at our gardens, emerging insects, flowers and trees. The Gallery will have closeup images that will engage you in these discoveries. Spectrum explores this by showcasing the work of established and emerging artists with original paintings, mixed media, photography and sculpture.
The Opening Reception for Nature Up Close is Friday, May 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Enjoy fine art, crafts, wine, and refreshments that evening and throughout the Open House Weekend, Saturday, May 17 from 1 to 6 pm and Sunday, May 18, from 1 to 5 pm. The exhibit runs through July 6. Also, Spectrum’s Artisans Store offers new pottery, glass, fiber, home décor, jewelry, clothing and accessories, children’s books, and toys.
