Raise the Roof with Shoreline Habitat

Habitat for Humanity is honored to be partnering with Yvette and Jeyser as they work toward building a home for their family and their three teenage children. Two of their children are old enough to build with Habitat and get to be part of the journey.
The family signed their partnership agreement with Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven in January. They’ll be ready for April to spring into action building.
Please use click here to complete the form to reserve your time to help build. Please share multiple possibilities so that they can work to include and welcome you and all groups and individuals. Please respond by March 6 so that they can build a schedule. You’ll receive an email copy of the form that you submit, and that will allow you to edit your dates of availability if the need arises.
Build days run from 9:00 AM–3:30 PM. Please plan to stay for the full day. No experience is needed, Habitat’s construction staff will teach you everything you need to know and work right alongside you.
All tools are provided. Just bring lunch, water, and wear comfortable work clothes. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
