River Valley Artists Unique Holiday Art & Craft Show

DEEP RIVER – Paintings, sculpture, fiber work, monoprints, photography, pottery, fused glass, hand crafted ornaments including ceramic dog bones with your pet’s name, unique jewelry, throw pillows, photographs with Santa and your dog or child plus a specially made gin cocktail are all part of River Valley Artists’ Holiday Show.
This unusual show, which includes work by 29 River Valley Artists will be at Promethea Potters in a renovated colonial at 68 Main Street where new owner Betsy Himmelman plans to teach pottery in the new year.
The Opening Party is Friday, Nov. 25 from 5 to 7 with wine and appetizers and on Saturday, Nov. 26, cranberry mimosas and mini quiches will be served from noon to 2.
Photographer Lizzie Appleby will take photos of Santa with your dog or child Sunday, Dec. 4 from noon to 4, and visitors can buy ceramic dog bones ornaments made by Betsy which they can inscribe with their pet’s name.
On Saturday, Dec. 10 from 4 to 7, a special holiday cocktail provided by Highclere Castle Gin, whose headquarters are in Essex, will be served with pretzels, and on Saturday, Dec. 17 from noon to 3, and variety of chilis will be served to visitors.
There will also free drawings throughout the show!
The show will be open Fridays from 3 to 7, Saturdays from noon to 7 and Sundays, noon to 4 p.m. from Nov. 25 through Dec. 23.
