On a recent afternoon, I grabbed a girlfriend and hit SANNO spa at Saybrook Point Inn for a pedicure. We indulged in Prosecco as we kicked back in our massage chairs in the recently renovated and ridiculously zen surroundings. With a fresh coat of paint, we flip-flopped down the hall to Fresh Salt for a plate of oysters, yummy ahi tuna sushi triangles, and a teeny bit more wine. Patio season is just getting underway and the view is as spectacular as ever. Bites & Flights is the current Happy Hour Special: trios of red or white wine or martinis paired with light bites served Mon-Friday from 4:30-6. The Terra Mar Angus Burger is always a hit, and you can’t beat their hot buttered lobster roll with a marina view. A mini vacation in an afternoon!
