Hydrangea Galore Expands in Old Lyme
Posted On : May 18, 2026
Hydrangea Galore isn’t just a cheeky name—it’s paradise for anyone with a green thumb (or green thumb aspirations). Owner Mark Comstock has set up shop right next to Treasures on Halls Road, and the selection is impressive. From every hue of hydrangea to towering Arbor Vitae and Hornbeam, peach, apple, and cherry trees, Mountain Laurel, dogwood, peonies, and so much more. And talk about local – nothing is grown more than 8 miles away. Perennials, herbs, and veggies come from Judge’s Farm just down the road, while most of the rest come from a longtime family connection with Clinton Wholesale Nurseries. Mark himself grows the hydrangeas. What sets Hydrangea Galore apart is the rare blend of top-notch quality and unbeatable prices. Bring a photo of your garden project, and Mark will provide on-the-spot advice. Installation available, too.
