While I loved trekking to Jennie Fresa’s antique red Cape in Clinton for my (not nearly often enough) eyebrow wax, I know it wasn’t the easiest thing to find and her retail biz suffered from zero foot traffic. We don’t think that will be a problem in her new digs in the center of Madison. The bright shop is filled with indie and organic beauty brands and her very own line of natural and hypo-allergenic mineral makeup (I’m a fan of the perfect sheer coverage tinted moisturizer and lead-free lipsticks). While Jennie is perhaps best known for her deft hand at bridal party makeup, this is a sweet destination for a mini facial, makeup application, that fabulous eyebrow wax (an aromatic blend of azuline oil and vitamin E, it’s gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin) or just to snap up some gluten-free lip gloss, coveted Tata Harper skincare and other beauty goodies (love love love the Rich Hippie line of scents!).
