15 Holmes Street, Mystic

You’ll find Li’s Bake Shop tucked into a corner directly across from the Engine Room and right next door to Hana Floral. Locals flock for lemon blueberry crumble bars, peanut butter cheesecake, Li’s famous whoopie pies, cupcakes, and lots of other freshly baked treats. It’s a nice stop for a morning coffee or afternoon pick-me-up. I hadn’t had a Devil Dog since, maybe, 1979, but one bite of Li’s perfectly round interpretation brought me right back.
