Lunch at Rose Vineyards, Branford
After our morning learning all about plants at Van Wilgens, we stopped across the street at Rose Farm Vineyards for lunch. This airy spot, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, offers sandwiches, salads, mezze plates, and cheese/charcuterie boards. My baby greens with perfectly grilled chicken and Laura’s crusty baguette sandwich filled with roasted chicken, peppers, cheddar and chipotle aioli, topped with a cornichon. Accompanied by a glass of bright rosé, this made for a lovely spring lunch!
