The parking lot at Mystic Market East was packed when I arrived. Once inside, I could see why. This place has everything you could ask for on a Sunday morning (or ever) — coffee, baked goods, organic chocolate bars, local honey, a variety of cheeses. But the big deal here is take-out! Find whatever you’re hankering for, from chop suey to manicotti. The Shanghai vegan dumplings, roasted root vegetable salads and crab cakes caught our eye and our appetite. Panini is made to order and there’s a seating area if you simply can’t wait. But here’s what we’re most excited about. Mystic Market South is opening in Old Saybrook (at the old Pat’s Country Kitchen) in April!
