Rock Stars! Introducing Earth Crow Goods

A soap dish does not seem like a consequential item until you’ve seen the likes of Earth Crow Goods. These exquisite vessels have just the right look for a Shoreline home. Organic and elemental, the shallow bowls and dishes are hand-drilled using rocks found on local beaches. Amy Grigoriou, the woman behind the drill, was intent on getting rid of single-use plastics and wanted to return to soap bars vs. plastic pump bottles. On the hunt for something sustainable to hold her soap, her rock collecting habit provided the inspiration.

A graphic designer by trade and knowing nothing about geology or drilling, Amy taught herself how to use a hand-held wet grinder and started crafting shallow bowls and dishes of various sizes. With the launch of the website, her side-hustle-slash-hobby became a bonafide business.

I’ve never strayed from bar soap (my current favorite is Savonneries Bruxelloises Ginger Lime available at Weekend Kitchen in Essex), and I’m planning on stocking my bathrooms with Earth Crow Goods smooth granite vessels. Makes for a thoughtful host/ess gift, too.
